Walking

So its official, Adam is walking. On Friday evening he took three steps, yesterday he took a few and today he took 15 steps without falling to a crawl position. He is still going between the two crawling and walking. It was super cute and it appeared he was somewhat shocked. But he kind of let out a chuckle. This was one of the first things he walked to a drawer with ziplock bags. He enjoys pulling each bag out one at a time. And straws he really likes them (which is what he has in his hands.)

Today I was standing in the hallway at church where one of the young women approached me and said I have to tell you my family voted Adam as the cutest kid here at church. She said there isn't anything about him we don't like. He is so cute and has such a great personality. She said we try to get to church early because we want to sit close to you guys. They are so sweet. Of course we agree but what would you expect... after all we are his parents. :-)

It will be so nice when we have some nice weekend weather. We really want to take Adam to the park but the weather has been to cold, rainy and windy. I just looked at the forecast for next weekend and again more rain. As much as I love the rain I would really like to have some outdoor time. I am sure all in time, summer months will be here before long and we will then be complaining about the heat and wishing it were winter again.
