Time, Time, Time

I can't believe that it has been over a month since I have posted anything about Adam or our family on our blog. Life has been moving forward. We have such a smart, incredibly handsome, silly child, whom I love and adore beyond measure.

On September 9th, we finalized our adoption in the Antelope Valley Courthouse. Our judge was kind and so excited to be apart of our finalization. The courthouse had two adoptions that day. Ours was first into the courtroom. Our family filled the seats and tears rolled down my face as we signed our final documents. It was an incredible and emotional event for me. Once compelte we headed to Famous Dave's for lunch. It was a great day to be with our family. Adam was so happy and in such a great mood. My heart was completely overwhelmed with joy.

Then on Saturday, Sept 12th we entered the doors of the Los Angeles Temple, this is where Aaron and I were sealed for eternity in June of 2005. On this day the 12th of September, we had Adam sealed to us for eternity. We had a wonderful day! Our friends and family were with us on this special occasion. After the event we invited everyone back to our house for lunch. We were exhausted when the day was over but it was fun.

Adam our smart, smart boy... so last night Adam was in the bath where he proceeded to turn himself to lay on his belly where he was trying desperately hard to get his toy duck, daddy had put up, not out of reach just up on the side of the tub. Well Adam figured out if he banged on the side the duck would fall. It was so cute and every time he hit the tub with his hand he would laugh. It was super cute. I ended up giving him the toy because it wasn't coming fast enough. He then just looked at me with a big grin.... like thanks mom.

Scooting, Crawling, pulling up, walking... I can't believe how time flies. Adam starting scooting months ago but he will not get up on all fours and crawl. He does get up and rock back and forth on his hands and knees but then goes down on his belly to scoot. He tries really hard to pull himself up and he loves to be on his feet. We put him in his walker where he runs and then lifts his feet to coast. I am not sure he will ever offically crawl only because he likes being on his feet so much more. But we shall see.
